Support

Here are a list of Charities and organisations within the UK that you may find helpful should you find yourself in the same tragic situation we have of losing your beautiful baby whether it be recent or in years gone by.

https://www.sands.org.uk/

Sands exists to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, to improve the bereavement care received by parents and families, and to influence policy makers and promote research to reduce the number of babies dying.

https://www.tommys.org/

Tommy’s fund research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provide pregnancy health information to parents. We believe it is unacceptable that one in four women lose a baby during pregnancy and birth. We want every parent to have the best possible pregnancy outcomes and to take home happy, healthy babies.

https://www.simbacharity.org.uk/

SiMBA has been supported in its fund raising efforts by many individuals, organisations and businesses. The families who have suffered the loss of a baby have been instrumental in their support and SiMBA endeavour to be ‘reactive’ to their needs. SiMBA was founded by a team of dedicated individuals in October 2005 in response to the needs of those affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy or close to the time of birth.

https://www.lullabytrust.org.uk/

The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families

Considering being a blood donor?

Steven has always been passionate around donating his blood to help save lives and even more so since I was unfortunate enough to need a blood transfusion after giving birth to our daughter. Without that persons donation I may not have survived so If you would like to know more around being a blood donor then here are some links below:
